Madman Entertainment Oscar Buzz

There were no doubt a number of happy faces following the announcement of this year's Oscar nominees. Maybe even Michael Haneke cracked the briefest of grins following the announcement that Amour is going forward in both the Best Picture and Best Foreign Language Film categories - speaking of which, the lol-speak fake Haneke Twitter account is well worth following.

Australians also had plenty to celebrate, with nods to Hugh Jackman for Les Misérables, Jackie Weaver for the very well represented Silver Linings Playbook and Naomi Watts for The Impossible.

Congratulations are also due to Madman Entertainment for nominations given to films A Royal Affair and Searching For Sugarman. Further details below -
